Series I: Samhain’s Midnight Travellers

This series of photomontages was inspired by Irish folklore. Samhain or Halloween, a Celtic tradition was celebrated throughout Ireland after the reaping and harvesting of crops. The time of year marks the end of summer and the beginning of those solitary and dark winter nights when phantoms and spirits, guided by the glow of candlelight, are said to roam the earth in search of the home and the family they once knew.
